It's that time of year. This summer's Artisan Cooking School course at JamesBen: Art Center of Greeneville is "Fresh from the Garden." We are focusing on and utilizing the local produce from the Greeneville Farmer's Market which is right behind the library in the Big Spring Park and available each Tuesday afternoon and Saturday morning.
The first class, next Saturday 7/19/08, is gallery artist, Medha Karandikar's "An Indian Inspired Vegetarian Meal."
Daniel's class: "Baking with Fresh Fruit and Berries" is on Saturday, 7/26/08.
Saturday, 8/02/08, will be JamesBen's kitchen play-party: "Tapas in the Southern Style."
All the classes are great fun, lots of interaction, and samplings of everything prepared.
All classes are conducted in Kitchen Stadium here at the Gallery from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Costs are $105 for all 3 classes or $45/individual class. Class size is limited to 8 folks. Translation: reservations are the only way to assure your spot. However, if there is an opening, we will always welcome folks until the start of that morning's class.
Reservations may be made at (423) 787 -0195 or at stocktonluther@embarqmal.com.
